UTV Sand Dune Vow Renewal Elopement
Would you ever have thought of riding a UTV over sand dunes and having a picnic on your wedding day? With elopements and vow renewals, it’s totally possible and can make for a really fun and meaningful day!
While putting together a plan for Jenna & Ryan’s vow renewal, we knew that dune riding was something they loved to do and did every year, so we made sure to incorporate that and a few other fun activities on their special day! Before their vow renewal, we met up with them at the campground where they were staying and then ventured out to Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Mears, Michigan, where we ventured out onto the large dunes. We set up a cute charcuterie picnic on the beach in front of Lake Michigan, and then coordinated with a vintage mobile bar so that they could share a drink together to celebrate their elopement! Jenna & Ryan got to see the Little Sable Point Lighthouse, which is one of the tallest lighthouses in Michigan at over 100 feet tall.
To end the day, we loaded into their UTV and set off across the dunes! It was SO MUCH fun! Racing up and down the dunes and doing donuts, your hair flowing in the wind, is an unreal experience and we highly recommend it for your elopement! As the evening grew closer, Jenna & Ryan snuggled together, taking in the incredible lview. And of course, we had to pop some champagne in celebration of the incredible day they just had!
